Tasker Farm Substation

TRC was contracted by PSNH to provide Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Testing & Commissioning (EPC) services to provide a turn-key project within budget and schedule.

In order to enhance the reliability of the electric system in the region, PSNH determined that a new 115kV to 34.5kV match on substation was needed in the area. This effort was completed in conjunction with additional work the client was performing at a near-by substation and the construction of new distribution lines and a new 115kV line feeding into Tasker Farm.

TRC was contracted by PSNH to provide Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Testing & Commissioning (EPC) services to provide a turn-key project within budget and schedule. TRC kept a detailed, updated schedule to ensure proper and timely submittals of engineering documents, delivery of material & equipment, and construction activities. TRC’s construction manager provided on-site supervision and support to ensure that the project was completed safely and per the project specifications and drawings.

TRC’s team worked closely with PSNH, conducting weekly meetings to provide project status, keep them abreast of any issues, and how those issues were being resolved. Multiple on-site meetings were also conducted as construction activities reached completion stages.

TRC also updated neighboring land-owners as to the status of the project as well as address any concerns brought forth. In addition, TRC ensured that the public dirt access road was maintained during construction activities to allow for safe and passable conditions for the public.
